Mien Ecohouse Dinh Lap

Very pleasant 1 night stay here. Dinner and breakfast were great and the family is super nice! There are plenty of activities to do if you happen to stay more than one night too. With the motorbike, there is conveniently a mechanic right next door! It is a fantastic mid way point between Cao Bang and Ha Long Bay, and the roads are quiet and easy. Really recommend this place.

I was there for 5 days in October and I had the best time! Me and my friend did all the activities with mien and it was amazing. The nature is beautiful and people are super nice. It is also not that frequently visited by tourists so you really get an authentic Vietnam experience

I spent a few days here with my friend, and it was definitely one of my highlights of my trip to Vietnam! We stayed with Mien and her family, spent time with her two very cute nephews, and truly got to know local life. We met wonderful people with the kindest hearts, who did their best to communicate with us despite the language barrier. We learned a lot about the tea plantations, spent some time in the jungle, and even learned how to crochet. Everything was perfect - and the food we had was some of the best I had in all of Vietnam! It was truly an amazing experience, and I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about and experience authentic local life. At the end, we even received a handmade gift: a crocheted bag for carrying a water bottle, which I’ve been using ever since. So thankfull for this oportunity!

We were there for four nights and had the most amazing time. Our friends recommended the place and it was everything they promised us! Mien made a plan for every day we were there and showed us the real local life. We ate with her family all the time and could not be happier to have met her. It is not at all touristy so we had the whole dorm to ourselves that was a little walk away from the main house. In the end we had a great time there! Thank you Mien (:

We had a great stay here. Host is very friendly and helpful and we had good communications in Englisch.

Amazing place to stay. Very friendly family and amazing food. Bed is comfortable and shower is hot. Real proper homestay. Mien is a lovely host and will help you with anything.
